Meet Dr. Blaeser

Bart Blaeser, D.M.D., M.D. grew up locally on the North Shore of Massachusetts. He attended Danvers St. Johns Preparatory High School. He is a member of the schools athletic hall of fame (hockey and baseball).
He then attended Princeton University where he obtained his B.A. in economics. He played for the schools ECAC division I hockey team all four years.
He began his professional training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and graduated Cum Laude. Following this, he completed a general practice residency in dentistry at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He then attended Harvard Medical School and completed his oral and maxillofacial and general surgical residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital in 2000.
Dr. Blaeser is the chief of Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the North Shore Medical Center. He additionally is a full staff attending surgeon at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Dr. Blaeser practices a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with special interests in dental implants and preprosthetic bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, trigeminal nerve injury and microsurgical repair, and salivary gland pathology.
He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).
